It was a day of celebration when our fifth graders graduated on June 6, 2017. The ceremony, held in Grace and St. Peter’s Church, included a mass said by Father Christopher Pyles. Head of School Sandra Shull awarded the students their certificates. Same Kimmel, a 2004 GASP/Wilkes graduate who is currently a doctoral student in neurobiology at the University of Maryland, was this year’s speaker, giving the students advice and inspiration. The Board of Trustees thanked Ms. Shull for her years of service. Following the graduation, 5th graders, their families, and the faculty attended a reception in the multi-purpose room.

Our graduates will be continuing their education at a variety of independent and public schools, including Boys’ Latin, Gilman, Maryvale, St. Pius, and Roland Park’s Ingenuity Program. We wish them the best of luck and can’t wait to hear of their successes and adventures in middle school.
